The work critiques Euler’s submission that the squares of (negative or positive) numbers are always positive. The work looks at many equations in which the case is not that the squares of (negative or positive) numbers are positive, and concludes that it is not true that the squares of (negative or positive) numbers are always positive, except the number squared is zero. The work recommends that mathematicians and scientists should admit existence of a Platonic number, square of -1 and also admit that given a number x not zero, then the square of x s not equal to the square of x.
