How the RMS Works — Four Steps
Step 1 JOIN RMS

Anyone qualified can join the Referral Management System as a member. Register yourself by filling in the online form — there is no fee to join and no obligation to review a set number of papers.

Step 2 REFER

Refer a colleague or student to publish with IJRTI. Give them your Referral ID, which they enter when they submit their paper. That ID is the only thing linking the referral to your account.

Step 3 PUBLISH

The referred paper goes through the same transparent peer review as any other submission. Once it is accepted, the formalities are completed and the paper is published — usually within 1–2 days.

Step 4 EARN

100 reward points are credited to your RMS account for every referred paper that is successfully published. Points are visible in your account immediately after publication.

  • 1 reward point = ₹1.
  • Once you have earned enough points to use them, the balance appears as account credit.

  • The referring reviewer must supply their Reviewer ID to the author, who enters it when submitting the paper. Without that ID the referral cannot be linked to your account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can become a reviewer or referral partner for IJRTI?

Anyone who is a genuine expert in the paper's research field. In practice that means a PhD in the relevant discipline, or a Master's degree in the relevant field with at least five years of experience in it.

How many points do I earn per paper?

100 points are credited for each referred paper that is successfully published in International Journal for Research Trends and Innovation. One point equals ₹1, so 100 points is worth ₹100.

When can I redeem my points?

Points can be redeemed once your balance reaches ₹599. At 100 points per paper that is roughly 6 published referrals. Below that the balance simply stays in your account and keeps accumulating.

Is there any cost to join?

No. Joining the RMS is free. Reviewers and referral partners pay nothing at any stage — the publication charge is paid by the author of the paper being published, not by the person who referred them.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. A Reviewer Certificate is issued and made available in your RMS portal once your membership is confirmed. An appointment letter is also available from the same place.

What happens if the referred paper is rejected?

No points are credited. Points are awarded only on successful publication, because that is the point at which the referral has actually resulted in a paper.

How do I check my point balance?

Sign in to the RMS portal with the credentials emailed to you when your membership was confirmed. Your balance, referred papers and redemption history are all on the dashboard.

Can I refer more than one person?

Yes, there is no limit. Each successfully published referral credits a further 100 points, and they accumulate in the same balance.
What Referrals Add Up To

Points accrue per published referral, not per submission — a paper that is rejected earns nothing, which is deliberate. The table below shows where the balance sits as referrals accumulate.

Published ReferralsPoints EarnedStatus
1 referral ₹100 Below ₹599 threshold
3 referrals ₹300 Below ₹599 threshold
5 referrals ₹500 Below ₹599 threshold
10 referrals ₹1,000 Redeemable
25 referrals ₹2,500 Redeemable
What Reviewing Actually Involves

Being on the panel is not open-ended. Papers are sent to you only in your declared subject area, and you can decline any of them without explanation.

1. InvitationA paper in your field arrives by email with the abstract, so you can judge fit before accepting.
2. Accept or DeclineDeclining costs nothing and does not affect future invitations. A conflict of interest means you must decline.
3. AssessOriginality, methodology, significance and clarity — with written comments the author will actually read.
4. SubmitRecommend accept, revise or reject. Turnaround is typically 1–2 working days.
5. CreditedCertificate and appreciation letter issued, and the review recorded against your profile.

Your Certificate & Transparent Peer Review

IJRTI publishes reviewer reports alongside the article, so the work you do is visible rather than filed away. That is what makes the certificate mean something to an appraisal committee.
