Abstract— Pulp ash, leftover from sugar mill operations, has been tested in place of cement within concrete - up to a certain limit. Lab findings reveal it can swap in for cement without harming the mix. Still, using pulp ash does not boost concrete strength either. Because of this, pairing pulp ash with other binders such as fly ash or slag may be needed if used in construction blends.
