Abstract: Getting justice is a basic right of every person, but the regular court system is often slow, expensive, and complicated. Because of this, many people—especially the poor and common citizens—find it difficult to fight their cases in courts. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods like mediation, arbitration, conciliation, and Lok Adalats provide an easier and faster way to solve disputes. This paper explains how ADR helps in achieving “Justice for All” by making justice more accessible, affordable, and peaceful. It shows how ADR reduces the number of cases in courts and encourages people to settle their disputes through discussion and mutual understanding instead of long legal battles. The paper also talks about the laws that support ADR in India, such as the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, and how Lok Adalats and mediation centers help people get quick justice. ADR gives people more control over their disputes and helps maintain relationships because it is less stressful and less hostile than court cases. By saving time, money, and effort, ADR builds trust in the justice system. The paper concludes that ADR is not just another option—it is an important tool to ensure fair and timely justice for everyone.
