| Abstract: | Abstract This paper examines the rise and decline of grape cultivation in Hnahlan, Champhai District, and its implications for the transition to settled agriculture. By analyzing historical data, economic trends, and environmental impacts, the study aims to understand the factors contributing to the boom and bust cycles of grape cultivation. Additionally, the paper explores how these experiences have influenced local agricultural practices, leading to more sustainable and settled farming methods. The findings highlight the importance of adaptive strategies in agriculture and provide recommendations for promoting stable and productive agricultural systems in the region. |
