Abstract: The agricultural production and commodity markets both are particularly affected by the climatic changes. This article investigates, various impacts of shifting climatic trends—specifically, shifting in temperature, rainfall patterns, and CO2 concentrations—on food production and their subsequent effects on both exporting and importing countries. Furthermore, to study the relation of these climate changes with the commodity prices, we employ the Pearson correlation coefficient, demonstrating that as weather patterns fluctuate, associated economic variables tend to increase as well. The article emphasizes the necessity for both adaptation and mitigation strategies to address climate challenges, including minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting the sustainable practices that are accessible to regional and smallholder farmers, traditional farming methods can be conjugated with innovative technologies, which enhance resilience and efficiency in agriculture, the significance climate-resilient development and policy interventions plays an important role in stabilizing agricultural trade. By adopting an integrated approach that combines technology, policy, and sustainable practices, it is possible to establish a more resilient global food system capable of fulfilling future demands while addressing environmental challenges.
