| Abstract: | Abstract This study investigate how we can tackle the problems of solid waste and the method to participatory waste management model. It is not simple and easy to dispose solid waste if the region/country if it is thickly populated. Here is an attempt to explore the micro model of solid waste management with the help of people. And also to explain the democratic approach of a region to control the amount of garbage. Now a day the country like India face two acute problems in connection with growth. The first problem is the generation of wastes from industries and households, the next is the poor work force participation of women labour. Both problems are not complementary. They are contradictory. The policy makers and authorities try to solve these problems separately. In Kerala, a state belongs to India, the govt. tries to solve both problems simultaneously. With an accurate vision the government of Kerala, formed a mass movement of the voluntary unemployed. The organisation is known as Kudumbasree Mission, a statutory organisation of the unorganised women, now emerged as a labour force movement which bring together all categories of people for attaining the desired goals. The aim of the project enriching and standardize a society. |
