Abstract: In this following study, Antidiuretic capacity of the plants Anthocephalus Cadamba and Corynanthe Johimbe have been investigated on Male Wistar Albino strain rats. Antidiuretic drugs useful in the management of Diabetes Insipidus and post- surgery head trauma diuresis etc is tested in these rats through In vivo method; Lipschitz test and Invitro investigation of Carbonic Anhydrase inhibition and Super oxide Dimutase activity of the ethanolic plant extract. During this study, keen observation of physical parameters was noted, blood and urea parameters were assessed. Isolated kidneys were sent for histopathological assessment at the end of the study. The efficacy and feasibility of the long term usage of this potential agent helps in retaining water and electrolytes and have been demonstrated in planned clinical procedure in the assistance of lower measurements of the detailing Anthocephalus Cadamba and Corynanthe Johimbe plant extract. Antidiuretic effect was noted in the plants which helped in retaining volume of fluid within the body and preventing excess urination.
