Background: Menopause is an inevitable reproductive phase between 45-55 years of age when various physical and mental changes impair the life of women. It typically occurs in women’s late 40’s to early 50’s many women find the time around menopause as stressful (North American Menopause Society, 2016). Menopausal women in rural areas are often ignored (Sheri L and Sandra S, 2008), also described more physical, psychological and social stress. Aims and objectives: The study aimed to assess the bio-psychosocial well-being and family support among menopausal women and to determine the relationship between bio-psychosocial well-being score and family support score among menopausal women. Methodology: The research approach adopted for the study was non-experimental research approach. The present study was conducted in Mullana, Dosarka, Adhoya, Duliana of Ambala, Haryana. The research design adopted for the study was descriptive research design. The sample comprised of 300 menopausal women of age 45-60 years which were selected by purposive sampling technique from selected areas of Ambala, Haryana. The tools developed and used for data collection were structured bio-psychosocial well-being assessment scale and family support assessment scale. Tools were prepared by focusing on bio-psychosocial problems and family support respectively. The validity was ensured in consolidation guide and experts, the reliability of structured bio-psychosocial well-being assessment scale and family support was established by Cronbach alpha. After obtaining formal permission from concerned authority of respective areas, data was collected in month of May, 2022. Results: The findings of the study showed that more than half (56%) of the menopausal women have good bio-psychosocial well-being and majority (92%) of the menopausal women have good family support. Conclusion: More than half (56%) of the menopausal women have good bio-psychosocial well-being and (44) % of the menopausal women have average bio-psychosocial well-being, Majority (92%) of the menopausal women have good family support, some (6%) have average family support and only (2%) menopausal women have poor family support. There was weak positive correlation {r (p value) 0.30 (0.00) *} between bio-psychosocial well-being and family support among menopausal women. There was significant association of bio-psychosocial well-being with age (p value 0.03), type of family (p value 0.02), monthly income (p value 0.00), marital status (p value 0.05), abortion (p value 0.01), staying with children (p value 0.00) and type of menopause (p value 0.01). There was significant association of family support with marital status (p value 0.02), gravida (p value 0.00), parity (p value 0.00), live children (p value 0.00), staying with children (p value 0.00) and type of menopause (p value 0.03)
