A tight division of the state and religion is one definition of secularism, which in accordance with the Western conception of what secularisms. The situation in India, on the other hand, in which religion plays a large part in the private lives of peaple, is really quitedifferently from that in the West. In India, people of different faiths are treated equally and there is no bias against any of them. In India, the ability to freely practice one's religion regarded as one of the nation's basic right and it is illegal to show bias based on one's religious beliefs. In this study, an attempt is guaranteed by the Indian Constitution. In addition to this, it provides a general overview while simultaneously emphasizing the significance of religious tolerance and democracy in India.
