The synthesis of L-alanine based crystals such as L-alanine admixture with magnisim chloride (LAMCSC) using sodium chloride solution as solvent was carried out by taking L-alanine and magnisim chloride in ratio 2:1. To grow this crystal, the synthesized salts of it was used. Saturated solution of the sample was prepared separately and stirred well for about 2 hours and filtered separately. The solution was subjected to slow evaporation technique. The powder XRD study reveals the various peaks present in the crystals . The functional groups present in the grown crystal are obtained from FTIR-study. UV-VIS spectral study shows the transmittance of the grown crystals . The mechanical behavior such the crystal belongs to soft category was also discussed.
