| Abstract: | Every City has a well-functioning traffic management system to keep the transportation system running smoothly. The primary goal of this study was to examine the Kolhapur city traffic management system and parking issues. Questionnaires for both passengers and drivers were produced as part of this study. A paper-based questionnaire survey and also conducted interviews with commuters, drivers, passengers and the concerned authority of Traffic department. The findings indicated the issues that passengers and drivers encounter on a regular basis at CBS Kolhapur. Passengers, and drivers were also asked for suggestions on how to improve the traffic system. The efforts taken by Traffic department to solve issues of parking and traffic management were noted. The reasons for previous incidents were recorded by passengers and drivers based on their personal experiences. Basically, the research was to discover what people thought about the traffic management system and to get vital comments from users and travelers in order to create a more advanced and successful system. According to the findings of the study, the traffic management system should be considerably altered, and a proper systematic management and also traffic rules should be established. The outcome of this study should be very useful for the road transport agencies of Kolhapur, which are working to improve the traffic management system for the sake of better traffic management, human safety, environmentally and ample space for parking near CBS Kolhapur |
