Jump events in athletics, such as the long jump, high jump, triple jump, and pole vault, demand a combination of speed, power, and precision. These events put significant stress on the body, especially on the lower limbs, leading to a variety of injuries. The most common injuries in jump events include sprains, strains, fractures, and overuse injuries that affect muscles, ligaments, tendons, and bones. Proper training techniques, biomechanics, and injury-prevention strategies are crucial for minimizing injury risk in jump athletes. This paper examines the most common injuries in jump events, provides injury-prevention strategies, and discusses rehabilitation methods to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries. The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of injury management to optimize athletic performance and long-term career sustainability.
