This paper discusses the design of an Renewable energy systems, especially solar-based ones, often produce low output voltage, which needs to be increased for practical use. In this paper, an enhanced interleaved high step-up DC–DC converter is presented to address this challenge. The proposed design combines interleaving, coupled inductors, and a diode–capacitor voltage multiplier to achieve high voltage gain efficiently. Compared to traditional converters, this approach reduces stress on components, improves efficiency, and minimizes input current ripple. The converter is able to achieve a high voltage gain without requiring extreme operating conditions. Simulation results show that the system can effectively boost low input voltage to a much higher level, making it suitable for renewable energy applications like photovoltaic systems.
