Abstract: The rapid growth of the healthcare sector has exposed several limitations in traditional Hospital Management Systems (HMS), such as limited cost transparency, fragmented services, and minimal use of advanced technologies. To address these challenges, this project introduces an AI-powered Next-Generation Hospital Management and Patient Care Ecosystem designed to improve hospital operations and enhance the overall healthcare experience. The system integrates technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Blockchain, and modern web technologies to create a unified digital healthcare platform. It manages key hospital functions including patient records, doctor scheduling, pharmacy inventory, and billing, while also providing real-time cost estimation to improve financial transparency for patients. Patients benefit from a more convenient and interactive healthcare experience through features like digital pre-visit forms, preparation checklists, AI-assisted lab result interpretation, real-time queue tracking, indoor navigation, and telehealth consultations. These tools help reduce waiting times and improve patient engagement. For clinicians, the platform offers mobile-friendly dashboards and AI-powered Clinical Decision Support, enabling drug interaction alerts, abnormal lab detection, and diagnostic suggestions. Secure communication tools also allow healthcare professionals to collaborate more effectively. Hospital administrators gain access to predictive analytics for patient flow forecasting, staff management, and resource allocation. The system also includes automated inventory management with AI-based reordering and supports FHIR-based interoperability for seamless integration with laboratories, insurers, and external healthcare providers. Overall, this ecosystem promotes transparency, efficiency, and patient-centered care, providing a modern digital solution that improves healthcare delivery and hospital management.
