| Abstract: | The Legal Beacon chatbot is an AI-powered solution that simplifies legal documents and provides automated legal guidance through the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs), including advanced models such as GPT-4 and BERT. Using Retrieval-Augmented Gen- eration (RAG) to accurately retrieve documents and generate context-sensitive information, this system addresses the chal- lenges posed by complex legal language, which often remains in- comprehensible to individuals without specialized knowledge. The chatbot effectively translates dense legal terminology into plain, easy-to-understand text, enabling individuals to comprehend legal contracts, terms, and conditions without professional assistance. It further supports real-time, context-driven answers to legal queries, democratizing access to legal information, and reducing dependence on costly legal consultations. Designed to serve both general users and legal professionals, the project improves legal accessibility, improves legal literacy, and streamlines workflows by offering quick, relevant, and accurate legal insights.
