Abstract: This case study explores the blood glucose levels and dietary patterns of a 60-year-old woman, Tara Choradia, residing in Surat city, who has been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Conducted over a 30-day period from December 6, 2024, to January 4, 2025, the study aimed to analyze the relationship between dietary intake and blood glucose regulation. Data was collected using a comprehensive questionnaire that covered demographic details, physical activity, lifestyle, anthropometric measurements, and dietary habits. The participant’s height was recorded as 5'7" with a BMI of 25.9. Blood glucose levels were monitored continuously, while a 24-hour dietary recall method was employed to assess her intake of protein, carbohydrates, and fats. The findings underscore the pivotal role of dietary patterns in managing blood glucose levels in individuals with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. This study provides important insights into how specific nutrients affect blood sugar regulation, highlighting the significance of dietary management in diabetic care. The study’s objectives included assessing the nutritional status of diabetic women through anthropometric and biochemical measurements, monitoring blood glucose levels, and analyzing dietary intake patterns to understand their impact on glucose control.
