Urban transportation systems are essential to city functionality, yet they are
often plagued by challenges such as traffic congestion, pollution, inefficient route planning,
and infrastructure maintenance. Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers transformative potential in
addressing these issues by optimizing traffic flow, predicting demand, reducing emissions, and
enhancing service quality. This paper examines the design, implementation, and advantages of
AIpowered urban transport management systems, emphasizing their capacity to integrate
diverse transport modes, optimize resources, and improve overall city mobility and
sustainability.
