This study assesses the impact of tourism infrastructure on visitor satisfaction in Shimla, one of India’s most popular hill destinations. The research examines various attributes of infrastructure, including accommodations, food and beverage services, transport facilities, medical assistance, and basic amenities, to determine their influence on the overall travel experience. Findings reveal that tourists have high satisfaction levels with accommodations, diverse food options, and essential services such as ATMs and local authorities. However, moderate satisfaction was reported with public transportation and healthcare accessibility, while parking facilities emerged as the most dissatisfaction factor for visitors, particularly during peak tourist seasons. This research highlights the important role of infrastructure in shaping tourist satisfaction and provides insights for policymakers and stakeholders to enhance destination management
