| Abstract: | The purpose of this research study was “Comparative study of speed and strength of athletes studying in Charutar Vidya Mandal University, Anand”. This research study was limited to Charutar Vidya Mandal University, Anand. In this research study female sports players studying in Charutar Vidya Mandal University were selected as subjects. In this research study, 25 students from NVPAS College, 25 students from SS Patel College, 25 students from ADI College, 25 students from Charutar Vidya Mandal University, Charutar Vidya Mandal University were selected in this research study. 25 out of 100 women players were selected from D College Female athletes between 18 and 24 years of age were selected for this research study. Analysis of the data shows that among the athletes studying in Charutar Vidya Mandal University, Anand, NVPAS College, SS Patel College, A.D.I.T. College and S.M.A.ID. The 'F' ratio of speed was found to be 2.327. which did not meet significance at the 0.05 level. Hence it is clear that there was no significant difference in speed between the four groups of players. Analysis of the data shows that among the players studying in Charutar Vidya Mandal University, Anand, NVPAS College, S.S. Patel College, A.D.I.T. College and S.M.A.ID. The 'F' ratio of power was found to be 2.511. which did not meet significance at the 0.05 level. Hence it is clear that no significant difference in strength was observed between the players of the four groups. |
