digital assets. This paper delves into the
crucial role of Digital Forensics and
Incident Response (DFIR) in modern
cybersecurity. DFIR brings together the

forensics, which focus on identifying,
preserving, and analyzing electronic
evidence, with the swift actions of
incident response, aimed at detecting,
containing, and neutralizing cyberattacks.
The research reviews the latest tools and
methodologies in DFIR, emphasizing the
