| Abstract: | Emulgel is gaining prominence as a superior alternative to conventional topical formulations, owing to its unique composition blending emulsion and gel for dual-release control. A key advantage lies in its ability to effectively incorporate hydrophobic drugs, enhancing its appeal in contemporary applications. Emulgel stands out for being greaseless, transparent, easily spreadable and removable, boasting a prolonged shelf life, thixotropic properties, and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Increasingly fevered in cosmetic and dermatological preparations, emulgel is poised for accelerated adoption and broader application in the foreseeable future. |
