Even little delays can pose major risks to large businesses in terms of production downtime, supply chain disruptions, and so on. Asset monitoring systems play an important role in proactively addressing these challenges and maintaining operational continuity and efficiency by leveraging real-time data. This study involves building a system that performs asset monitoring. This study provides how an asset monitoring system is built, with a focus on its use in traction elevators and the incorporation of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Drawing on a variety of research studies and industry sources, the system supports proactive maintenance practices, utilizes IoT-enabled sensors, and produces data visualizations to monitor the conditions of equipment to check performance and reduce downtime.
