Abstract: Movements in Bengali poetry are the reflection of society. Movements of poetry are not judged by the period but the reflection of social picture of any period of love, war, death and separation. The poet or the group of poets starts movement to bring change in the society with the help of the language and form of poetry. In order to overcome the monotonous words of poetry the poets create movements in poetry. Movements in Bengali poetry are the new feelings of words in the mind. Various movements came out as the philosophy and psychology of the poets are very different from each other. Movements in poetry must need to develop the culture of society. Various movements in Bengali poetry give a power to rise a new way to think the words of the reflection of society from philosophical and psychological point of view. Movements also give the knowledge of the past life of the people. Movements give us social, mental, economic condition of the society. People can’t reach everywhere but the movement of poetry will reach everywhere anytime with the help of digitization. Poets always search the gap of feeling to create a new platform of poetry through movements. Bengali Poet essayist and novelist Malay Ray Chaudhury, the pioneer of Hungryalism started Hungry Movement for social change against Govt. rules only with the help of writing poetry. “Z-generation poetry” is a movement in Bengali poetry where poet Arun Das, the pioneer of “supreme consciousness” of mind, uses every components of poetry to express the feeling of heart and uses social picture to bring change in the society and gives a way to realize in soul the “Brahma” of poetry. “Z-generation Poetry” movement in Bengali poetry is a new platform for the poets to leave the external pleasure and enjoy happiness of “Brahma” of poetry in soul. All movements’ mottos are to bring social change with the help of writing poetry.
