Abstract: This study delves into the comprehensive development process of a unique head scarf fabricated through the infusion of bioactive compounds extracted from Tanners Cassia, Amla, and Vettiver onto satin fabric. The research encompasses the meticulous extraction methodology employed to isolate potent phytochemicals, followed by the optimization of immersion and finishing techniques to embed these compounds into the fabric structure. The resulting modified textile is subjected to a thorough characterization utilizing advanced analytical techniques such as Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and thermal analysis. Furthermore, the functional attributes of the head scarf, encompassing its color fastness, tensile strength, moisture management, and potential therapeutic properties including antioxidant, antimicrobial, and UV protection efficacy, are systematically evaluated. This multidisciplinary investigation elucidates the intricate interplay between botanical extracts and textile substrates, offering insights into the design and fabrication of sustainable, functional textiles with diverse applications in healthcare, fashion, and beyond.
