The purpose of this study was to identify and record diabetes knowledge, treatment options, and demand for antidiabetic medicinal plants in Narok County. Due to the numerous consequences associated with the condition, such as coronary heart disease, nephropathy, and neurodegeneration, diabetes mellitus (DM) is becoming more common and is still a major health burden globally. Medicines or folk remedies made from plants primarily for prophylactic or curative purposes disease. Traditional medicines made from plant extracts are more affordable and clinically proven to be effective it also has relatively few side effects compared to modern drugs. Literature is Application of phytochemicals from medicinal plants in the pharmaceutical industry clearly increased. Plant-derived secondary metabolites are of low or high molecular weight Biosynthesized in plants including steroids, alkaloids, phenols; lignans, carbohydrates, glycosides, etc. have various biological properties that are beneficial to humans. B. Antiallergic, Anti-cancer, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic and antioxidant activity in diabetes, it is a chronic disease caused by abnormal metabolism of pancreatic β-cells associated with hyperglycemia. Hyperglycemia can be caused by lack of insulin production by the pancreas (type 1 diabetes). Current Diabetes Mellitus Medications Focus on Controlling and Lowering Blood Normal blood glucose levels. But most modern drugs have many side effects. It can cause serious medical problems during treatment.
