Abstract: Blindness made it difficult for a person to learn about their environment and made tasks like reading, object recognition, and obstacle avoidance difficult. The challenges faced by the blind were numerous, including the risk of falling and colliding with objects, which restricted their ability to move around and engage with their environment. They became perpetually reliant on others as a result. For them, going out on their own was challenging. Due to the limited search area, a regular blind-navigation cane often used by a person who was visually impaired was not very suitable. A typical cane could alert the user to changes in the ground, but it could not alert the user to other walking dangers or things higher than the waist.Several electronics-based blind-navigation devices used voice-guided GPS (global positioning system) and sophisticated high-order processors.Previous art in this field was also challenging to manage because of the weight, volume, and functions linked with the main objective. The proposed system has integrated utilizing machine learning algorithms and the Tensor Flow framework. The suggested system was intended to give real-time object and image recognition capabilities to recognize and detect threats and obstructions in the environment. The functionality of the suggested prototype was demonstrated using a Raspberry Pi 4 due to its inexpensive price, small size, and simplicity of integration. Additionally, the system made use of Google's speech-to-text technology as an integrated reading assistant
