| Abstract: | Abstract: The study was conducted in Sonebhadra District of Uttar Pradesh to measure the knowledge of farmers towards production technology of rapeseed crop in Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. The largest number of rapeseed growers in the district led to the deliberate selection of 120 respondents from five villages within the Robertsganj block. The information was gathered through the use of a pre-structured interview schedule for individuals, and then the proper statistical analysis was carried out to come to a logical conclusion. According to the study, the majority of respondents (60.00%) were in the middle age range. Age, education, annual income, land ownership, occupation, economic motivation, extension contact, risk-taking capacity, and exposure to the media were all positively and significantly correlated with farmers' overall knowledge of rapeseed crop production technology .All the independent variables included in the study revealed that majority 43.33% of respondents had medium degree of knowledge of rapeseed crop production technology, followed by 39.17% and 17.5% of respondents who had low and high levels of knowledge, respectively. |
