This research study aimed to evaluate the effect of Table Banking savings and lending practices on the performance of members. The need for this research was motivated from the published studies, which indicated that women, who mostly form Table Banking, are lagging behind on matters regarding financial management practices. Social capital theory, social cognitive theory and empowerment theory guided this investigation. The investigation aimed to Evaluate the effect of lending and savings on the performance of member of the Table Banking. The study was confined to table banking groups within Imenti North Constituency. The researcher used a sample size of 370 Members of table banking groups from a target population size of 5,040 members. The response rate was 352 members representing 95% of sample size. The data was analysed using the descriptive statistics in which data was represented in form of frequency tables and percentages of representation. Further the inferential statistics was conducted in which linear regression, analysis of variance and correlation coefficient were used to determine the relationship between the aforementioned study variables. The study divulged that, effective savings and Lending in the group bring about increase in performance of the members of the table banking. A unit development in savings and lending would account for unit increase in performance of members. Based on these findings, the study recommends that the leaders of table banking to work together with the government and non-governmental organization and lobby resources to increase funding of their groups for the empowerment of members. The study recommends for continuous savings by members of the group to bring about increase in lending amongst themselves. The study further recommends that financial institutions should intervene and exploit the opportunities of table banking.
