For the estimation of diacerein in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage forms, a quick, precise, and selective UV-spectrophotometric technique was created. International Conference on Harmonization (ICH Q2 R1) standards were followed in the method's development and validation. In terms of linearity, range, precision, accuracy, toughness, limit of detection, and limit of quantitation, the developed technique was statistically verified. Max was determined to be 258.8 nm in the research, which was conducted in citrate buffer with a pH of 6.0. The range of pure drug concentrations prepared was 1–10 g/ml, and the results of the linear regression analysis revealed a solid linear relationship with an R2 value of 0.999. The limits of quantification and detection were discovered to be 0.675 and 1.189 g/ml, respectively. Recuperations were viewed as in the scope of 100.815 to 101.744 % and % RSD was under 2 %, which demonstrated that the created technique was exact, exact, explicit, quick and reasonable for the examination of business tests.
