Abstract: Adolescence stage is considered as a constructive growth and developmental period. Most of the psychological problem found in this period. Psychological well being is related with mental and physical health, academic achievement and social life etc. This study aim to access psychological well being among male and female adolescence students and relation between psychological well being and academic achievement gender wise. A descriptive survey method used in this study. 142 adolescence students are selected by purposive sampling technique. Ryff’s and Keyes’s psychological well being scale used to collect the data and SPSS statistics 21 is used for data analysis. It is found that male and female adolescence students have equal psychological well being. There are no relation between psychological well being and academic achievement. Male’s psychological well being and male’s academic achievement are negatively correlated but female’s psychological well being and female’s academic achievement are positively correlated.
