| Abstract: | Stress is a burning issue in modern society. Each and everybody suffer from stress. Basically, stress is the strain from the conflict between our external environment and us, which leads to emotional and physical pressure. Banking, like other services, has become one of the highly competitive sectors in India. The banking organizations since the beginning have been facing greater challenges in terms of technological revolution, service diversification and global banking. Banking industry today is amongst ten most stressful industries as per ASSOCHEM (Association of Chambers of Commerce of India). Present research aims to know about stress and stress management practices among selected public and private bank employees at Bagalkot. |
