Abstract: This article aims to improve the knowledge of incompatibilities and compatibilities among intravenous drugs to improve the quality of life, reduce drug interactions, complications, minimizing therapeutic error due to incompatibility among intravenous drugs. Providing an insight to health-care professionals regarding appropriate usage of intravenous drugs concomitantly, creating awareness and justifying the role of clinical pharmacist. Since, critical care settings are more prone to complications due to incompatibilities among intravenous therapy, this approach may prove to be helpful for understanding the need to minimize undesirable effects and promote patient safety.
