This study presents a study on the strength parameters of hybrid fiber reinforced concrete. An influence on the strength characteristics of hybrid fiber reinforced concrete specimens with the different fiber volume fractions was investigated. The parameters investigation includes compressive strength, split tensile strength, flexural strength and impact strength. A total of 36 specimens,150x150x150mm cubes, a total of 36 specimens of cylinder (Cylinder size150 mm diameter and 300 mm height),A total of 36 specimens, 100x100x500mm beams were tested to study the above parameters. The specimens incorporated 0.5 to 1.5% volume fraction of steel and glass fibers in equal proportions. The strength characteristics of hybrid fiber reinforced concrete specimens were compared with that of plain concrete. The test analysis showed that the addition of 1.5% by volume of hybrid fibers improves the strength characteristics.
