Abstract: By recording 2 reading of blood pressure by help of automatic oscillometric machine with interval of 3 minutes gap/day will help in screening of prevalence of prehypertension in human being. Negligence of hypertension might lead to much complicated heath issues as now it has become alarm that 1 in every 4 adults are diagnosing with hypertension will increase by 2025.The aim of the study was to assess the influence of life style factors in association with prehypertension and hypertension in adolescents. Method-A quantitative research approach was adopted with descriptive design, conducted for 4weeks for 320 adolescents who were selected through convenient sampling technique from colleges affiliated to pre-university. The data was elicited through self structured tool comprises of socio-demographic data, 2 interval readings of systolic and diastolic pressure and 3 point rating scales of Modified WHO STEP Instrument for Assessing the Risk Factor. Result- The findings are 53.8% of adolescents were age of 18 and 2.8% of samples had family history of hypertension. Prehypertension was most common in both 1st and 2nd reading and revealed that 3.8% had hypertension with mean of two reading and explores that physical activity, dietary pattern; sleep quality and social media are highly significance with hypertension and prehypertension. The study concludes that well planned policies and healthy working environment, strategic management of stress and good life style adaptation will reduce burden of it.
