Abstract: Concrete elements are considered to be one of the majorly significant constituents of any impacted construction work. Concrete has been widely in use for years because of its financially beneficial aspect as well as the easy availability of its components. As with time, advanced construction has developed a tendency of working on escalating the strength, and durability of concrete to fulfill the stipulation of contemporary structural requirements; various new practices have also been studied and researched on concrete to enhance its mechanical properties. Now, concrete has great compressive strength but poor tensile properties. Studies have shown that providing fibrous material externally to the concrete can increase its structural integrity. Adding fibers to concrete results in assorted properties to the concrete, significantly contrasting from conventional concrete, depending upon the ‘volume of fraction’ (volume of fraction typically ranges between 0.1 to 3%) of fibers added to it and itsvariety or orientation. Fiber reinforcement consists of small distinct fibers, uniformly distributed and randomly oriented, which can significantly impact the concrete, such as greater compressive strength, toughness, and flexural strength. The main motive of this study is to analyze the outcome of adding fibers (Glass fibers, Nylon fibers, and Steel Fibers) to the concrete and collate the strength, and durability factors respectively due to the experimental addition.
