| Abstract: | This paper provides an account of patterns of migration in major countries of Europe and how it has affected the policy making and integration process in the region. This paper discusses the process of migration in Europe after the World War II from Yugoslavian crisis to recent Syrian crisis. In the backdrop pf these crisis trends of migration in countries like France Germany Sweden had been discussed as these are the most preferred destinations in European Union. Also, migration from Central Eastern European Countries and post accession scenarios have also been explained. In this paper a detailed account of impact of Syrian crisis in escalating this migration crisis has also been provided. |
