The goal of this research is to quantify the advantages of existing fire protection systems and how they affect loss reduction initiatives. The attendees will gain first-hand knowledge of the principles and procedures for maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting fire protection and detection equipment, including sprinkler systems (wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge), alarm systems, and water distribution systems for fire protection. The workshop is intended to address the attendees' unique fire prevention concerns, including system troubleshooting. The attending personnel will have the chance to watch sprinkler systems in action. Inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems created expressly for hands-on instruction will be demonstrated in the field.
