| Abstract: | MSW arising from human and animal activities which are discarded as useless or unwanted in a community. In this project we made a study to know the efficiency and Effectiveness of the existing municipal solid waste management (MSWM) of Tumakuru city. Here composting process is adopted in the disposal of solid waste without segregation of components. Detail study has been carried out on generation, collection, transport and disposal activities involved in the city. Also, the sanitary landfill site is designed for disposal of MSW waste which is generated in Tumakuru city. |
