| Abstract: | Public Distribution device (PDS) has evolved as a device of control of shortage via distribution of meals grains at low cost prices. Over time, PDS has grow to be an essential a part of authorities’s coverage for control of food financial system in the country.It's miles additional in nature and is not intended to make to be had the complete requirement of any of the commodities distributed beneath it to a family or a phase of the society. PDS is operated beneath the joint obligation of the central and the kingdom Governments. The critical government, via meals company of India (FCI), has assumed the obligation for procurement, storage, transportation and bulk allocation of food grains to the nation Governments. Ration card has a totally important role in every home and is used for diverse area including circle of relatives members info, to get gasoline connection, it act as cope with evidence for diverse functions and so on. All of the human beings having a ration card to buy the various substances (sugar, rice, kerosene, and so on) from the ration shops. But on this machine having draw backs, first one is the inaccuracy inside the weight of the substances because of human mistakes and secondly, if no longer purchase the substances on the give up of the month, they'll sale to others without any intimation to the authorities and customers.
