Abstract: In the present study, the management of organic waste presents a significant challenge worldwide, with environmental concerns driving the search for efficient and sustainable solutions. Piranha solution, a powerful mixture various organic compounds rapidly. This study investigates the effectiveness of piranha solution sulphuric acid and hydrogen peroxide, has gained attention for its ability to degrading organic waste materials and its potential application in waste management. Through a series of experiments, organic waste samples - food scraps, agricultural residues, and biodegradable polymers are treated with piranha solution under controlled conditions. The degradation process is monitored using spectroscopic and results indicate that piranha solution effectively degrades a wide range of organic compounds, breaking them down into simpler molecules and reducing their environmental impact. Furthermore, the process demonstrates high efficiency and rapid degradation rates compared to conventional methods such as composting or anaerobic digestion. The findings suggest that piranha solution holds promise as a sustainable approach to organic waste management, offering a rapid and effective means of converting complex organic materials into simpler, more manageable forms. Further research is warranted to optimize process conditions.
Keywords: Organic waste, Piranha solution, Degradation, Waste management and Sustainability.
