A field experiment was aimed to improve the physiological and yield traits of pearl millet as a residual crop after harvesting groundnut in sandy loam soil under the irrigated condition at Nakkambadi village, Ariyalur District, Tamil Nadu during Rabi2021-2022, to evaluate the residual effect of farmyard manure, goat manure, poultry manure, Rhizobium, 50% RDF. The experiment was set upin Randomized Block Design (RBD) and replicated thrice, consisting of 12 treatments withcombinations of organic manures (farmyard manure, goat manure, poultry manure), Bio-fertilizer along withfoliar spray(Panchagavya, Dasagavya) were used for groundnut. For the residual study, application of FYM @ 10 t ha-1 + 50 % RDF + Rhizobium@ 2kg ha-1at basal application along with a foliar spray of 3% Panchagavyaat 30 and 45 DAS recorded significantly the highest grain and Stover yield (3070 and 6549 kg ha-1, respectively) and it was followed by FYM @ 10 t ha-1 + 50 % RDF + Rhizobium @ 2 kg ha-1at basal application along with a foliar spray of 3% Dasagavya at 30 and 45 DAS.
