Owning to the intermittent nature of renewable energy, microgrids are popular in remote areas in a qualifiable and quantifiable manner. The reliability of automatic DC microgrids (ADCMG) depends on battery capacity and size due to the stochastic behaviour of reusable. The overcharging and discharging of the battery forces the microgrid into an insecure zone. Increasing storage capacity is not economical because of additional maintenance and capital cost. The power management strategy for an autonomous DC microgrid is based on a photovoltaic source, storage, and battery. The main contribution of this paper centred on a power management strategy solving the above issues integrally, and analysis of microgrid. Furthermore, the study provided a comparison between the microgrids and controlling methods. Thus interconnecting neighbour microgrids increases virtual storing and discharging capacity when excess power and deficit scenario arises respectively in any of the DCMG.
