COPE Ethics & Malpractice Statement

IJRTI is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties — authors, editors, and reviewers — are expected to adhere to these ethical standards.

Author Responsibilities

• Submitted work must be original, not plagiarized, and not under review elsewhere
• All sources, data, and contributions must be properly acknowledged
• Authorship must reflect actual contributions; ghost authorship is prohibited
• Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest at submission
• Fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting of data is strictly prohibited
• Duplicate submission or self-plagiarism is not permitted

Editorial Responsibilities

• Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit without discrimination
• Editors maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts
• Editors declare and recuse themselves from conflicts of interest
• Editors investigate all allegations of research misconduct

Reviewer Responsibilities

• Reviewers must decline review if they have a conflict of interest
• Review information is kept strictly confidential and not used for personal gain
• Reviewers provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback
• Reviewers must not contact authors directly

Malpractice Handling

Cases of plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, or unethical authorship are handled per COPE flowcharts. IJRTI reserves the right to retract published articles if post-publication misconduct is established. A retraction notice will be published in place of the retracted article.
